DHL segregate storage of food and drink containers from non-food products with Flexiwall

Sector: Factory & Warehouse New Builds

Company: DHL

Location: Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT), Northamptonshire

Overview: Segregation of storage areas

Solution: Flexiwall

DHL Supply Chain provide contract logistics solutions for many industries globally. As an approved contractor to DHL and on recommendation by another site, the DHL team at Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT) contacted Westgate Global for a partitioning solution to segregate storage of food and drink containers from non-food products.

Flexiwall is a unique floor-to-ceiling fabric partition that offers many benefits over traditional partitioning methods. It installs quickly and cleanly, meaning minimal disruption in live environments and adherence to tight time schedules, a key benefit for DHL as it enabled them to ensure work continued while the installation took place.

Taking up minimal floor space once installed, it’s also easily reconfigured, relocated or removed without damage to the building, ideal for businesses with changing requirements.

The Flexiwall was 90m wide x 25m high, another benefit of Flexiwall is it’s designed and installed to any height and length. As an integrated solutions provider Westgate Global also supplied and installed one Flexicurtain door at 3m wide x 5m high, and two steel pedestrian doors. DHL’s yellow brand colour was incorporated into the lower band of fabric for a professional, corporate appearance.
