Flexiwall helps Kingsland Drinks expend production area using existing warehouse space

BRCGS compliant solution for food and drink environment

Kingsland Drinks have been producing wines and spirits since 1955. Specialising in a complete category solution, they work with top producers around the world while also creating their own unique brands, making efficient, well-organised production facilities essential to their operation.

Westgate Global had previously worked with Kingsland Drinks, supplying them with Hoardfast; a part-height partitioning system. Having been satisfied with both the high level of service and the quality of the product, Kingsland Drinks returned to Westgate Global with a new challenge: installing a full-height, floor-to-ceiling partition within their existing storage warehouse in Manchester. The goal was to divide the space in two, transforming one half into a dedicated production zone to house a brand-new bottling line.

With extensive experience delivering temperature and dust control solutions across food and drink environments, Westgate Global recommended Flexiwall as the ideal system for the project. Operating in the food and drink industry means Kingsland Drinks must meet the requirements for BRC accreditation, and Flexiwall was well-suited to support this. Manufactured from food-safe materials, it delivers an over 99% dust-tight seal and cleanly segregates production and storage areas, ticking all the right boxes from a compliance perspective.

Crucially, installation was quick and clean compared to traditional partitioning methods. Flexiwall occupies only millimetres of floor space, minimising disruption and reducing downtime, with operational schedules able to continue throughout the planned installation.

An integrated solution, from partition to office space

The Flexiwall partition itself included vision panels for visibility between zones, and Westgate Global also supplied and installed three steel pedestrian doors and a Fastflex fast-action door, providing Kingsland Drinks with a fully integrated solution from a single supplier. A finishing touch saw the Kingsland Drinks logo added directly to the Flexiwall, creating a polished, branded environment for both staff and visitors.

Within the new enclosure, Hoardfast PVC partitioning was used to further maximise the available space, creating a self-contained office and dedicated storage room. Hoardfast’s part-height panels are robust, easy to configure, and quick to install, making them an ideal choice for carving out functional workspace within a busy production environment. The result was a practical, professional office area, complete with storage, that provided the site team with a base of operations without encroaching on valuable production or warehouse floor space.

The completed project gave Kingsland Drinks a fully compliant, efficiently organised facility: a production zone built for their new bottling line, practical office and storage accommodation, and a branded environment that reflects the company’s identity.
