Hoardfast: the sustainable choice for temporary works
As with all Overbury projects, sustainability was a key part of the specification process. Hoardfast PVC was a natural fit for the project. Manufactured from 85% recycled materials and fully recyclable at the end of its working life, it directly supports the low-waste construction methodology that Overbury had committed to across the Sixty London Wall project. Unlike traditional hoarding solutions, Hoardfast generates no skip waste on removal, an important consideration on a project where sustainability performance was being formally assessed and certified.
The professional finish of the installed corridor was equally important. In a Grade A office environment, with clients walking through the space throughout the fit-out, the appearance of the temporary infrastructure needed to reflect the quality of the permanent work being delivered around it. Hoardfast delivered that standard.
Delivered in two weeks
Before work began, Westgate Global conducted a detailed site visit to assess requirements, discuss fixing methods and ensure the design was fully tailored to the specific conditions of the fourth floor. The project was delivered on a supply-only basis, with all components provided by Westgate Global and the installation completed within a two-week timeframe, a tight turnaround managed without compromise on quality, safety or finish.
The result was a highly functional, visually appropriate client corridor that allowed Overbury to welcome clients with confidence. The fit-out went on to achieve both BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum certifications – a testament to the project’s commitment to sustainability.
