Dust containment was a major consideration on this project due to there being a number of surrounding shops, live cafe area on the third floor and continued access to the general public, so Marshall (Building Contractors) Ltd needed a full enclosure including a ceiling that would stop any dust contamination throughout the rest of the building.

Westgate Global were invited to install Flexiscreen to assist Kerry whilst installing a new production line without disrupting current manufacturing.

Due to the strong relationship with Birds Eye, Westgate Global were asked to facilitate a solution. Flexiscreen was recommended for a number of reasons, with the first of those being specific to this project: Flexiscreen can be easily installed at an angle, which is a very big advantage over conventional temporary screening methods.

Flexicurtain was used for a washdown screen between two lines, to allow for cleaning whilst production continued.

Creating a barrier between two varying functions is no new concept, but creating a building screen within budget, to tight project timescales and with the guarantee of a quality product is the difficult part; not for Westgate!
