Dust containment was a major consideration on this project due to there being a number of surrounding shops, live cafe area on the third floor and continued access to the general public, so Marshall (Building Contractors) Ltd needed a full enclosure including a ceiling that would stop any dust contamination throughout the rest of the building.

Internal freestanding hoarding was required during a project to restore the Cathedral’s organ. The organ and its pipe work needed to be dismantled and removed, whilst the Cathedral remained open for visitors.

From the start it was clear a full-height solid wall carried a number of complexities, including installation around the existing and multiple penetrations at high level.

Westgate Global helped Hydram Engineering create a dust-tight, flexible partition with Flexiwall in their 115,000 sq ft facility. The solution provided a custom three-sided enclosure to support specialist manufacturing, with minimal floor space usage and easy reconfiguration.

Flexiwall needed to be installed between the main bottling plant and various storage areas, effectively acting as a barrier to prevent airborne dust from migrating and settling on the bottling lines. This not only complied with their H&S mandates but also improved on food and drink hygiene.
