Flexiscreen
Flexiscreens are temporary floor-to-ceiling weather protection screens and dust screens. Ideal for both internal and external applications, this engineered versatile temporary screening system is a robust alternative to traditional scaffold sheeting methods. Flexiscreen can be used on large scale mission critical construction projects, proven to shield open buildings from inclement weather, contain dust and regulate temperature. During flooring, installation and extension works within live manufacturing and warehouse environments, it is the ideal screening solution to reduce dust spread and contamination of adjacent areas.
There are three Flexiscreen panel connection methods (seal types) to choose from, enabling you to balance performance versus speed of delivery/install. Which seal type you choose is dependent on your project’s specific requirements.
Overview
Flexiscreens are superior temporary weather and dust screens which are quick, easy, clean to install, and suitable for both short and long term projects. During phased works they can be relocated, reconfigured and extended if required.
Designed and installed to suit any height and width of building (subject to survey), its rapid installation process means disruption in any environment is minimised to maintain existing production schedules and construction programmes.
The unique panel connection methods and tight seal around ducts, pipes, steel work and at ceiling level ensures that Flexiscreen offers an over 99% weather and dust tight seal.
The suspended panel-based system requires no additional supporting frame work as it is suspended from the existing building structure, and can be installed on an angle to fit the profile of the building and accommodate tight gaps. Taking up minimal floor space, it can easily be installed in tight spaces and around existing equipment in manufacturing and production environments.
Choose from three panel connection methods – v-overlap, zip, and hook and loop – and a range of materials and access options to suit the needs of the project and environment (i.e antifungal materials / fire rated). Wind load calculations and designs are available for screens in high wind load areas using our v-overlap and zip seals.

Applications & Uses
- Temporary external walls for weather protection during extension and construction projects
- Internal relocatable screen to allow for phased openings in large buildings, typically large warehouses
- Manage temperature during concrete pours and floor curing
- Dust containment during flooring and drainage works
- Screen off production line installations to prevent cross contamination in a live manufacturing facility – including in food manufacturing
- Create an enclosure around areas where the roof needs to be removed, for temperature and contamination prevention
- Create temporary aisle containment infills for data centre heat load testing

FAQs
What are your lead times?
Due to the customised nature of our Flexiscreen solution, and multiple seal options, lead times vary depending on your project requirements and location. However, because we manage our own in-house contracts team, we are able to provide you with an approximate lead time at point of enquiry.
How do I establish if my building structure can support your system?
Westgate provide full design support and system specific calculations that can be used to establish this.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured and quality controlled in the UK.
How do I overcome wind load requirements?
We evaluate site specific wind load requirements as part of the design process. Where high wind loads are an issue, additional features (e.g. wind load straps) can be built in to the design. The ideal seal types for wind load required projects are our our v-overlap and zip panel connection methods.
Does the system have to be battened to the floor?
No, we can provide a number of fixing options for your building screen and weather protection screen solution. Please contact us for full details.
