A multinational FMCG giant were undertaking groundwork alongside a live ice cream line. A solution was needed to keep production moving, ensuring the safety and integrity of their products as the works took place.
Flexiscreen proved to be the perfect choice for the company’s requirements. With Flexiscreen, there’s minimal downtime, and maximum protection. This innovative temporary screen was designed to be quick and clean to install, providing a 99% dust-tight seal once in place.
By effectively sealing off the groundworks area, Flexiscreen significantly minimised the disruption to production schedules and reduced the risk of contamination. The dust-tight seal prevents the entry of particulates, debris, or contaminants into the production area. This enhances overall hygiene and safety standards and aids meeting stringent quality control requirements.
One of the key advantages of Flexiscreen is its superior functionality compared to traditional scaffold sheeting. A total of 67 linear metres of Flexiscreen were installed. The heights of the screens ranged from 8.5 to 14 metres, effectively creating a protective barrier around the live ice cream production line. This installation ensured that the groundwork could proceed without compromising the safety and quality of the ice cream products.
