Custom Flexiwall partition installation for clean warehouse environment

EGGER is one of the leading manufacturers of wood based panels in Europe, seeing positive growth during 2016/2017 across most of the globe. A new area was required within their warehouse where dust and temperature levels could be controlled. The new area would serve as a samples area in which they would be able to package up samples in a clean environment, whilst other processes continued in the rest of the warehouse.
Having worked with Westgate on multiple occasions, (Flexicurtain: retractable industrial curtain and Flexiscreen: internal building screen), EGGER decided to contact Westgate again to help with their new requirement.

For this particular project Flexiwall (a permanent but relocatable partition) would be used to create a three-sided enclosure. Flexiwall boasts a 99% + dust seal, which is due to the unique way in which it is manufactured and installed. When new spaces need to be created within existing ones Flexiwall offers minimum disruption and can be easily installed around existing equipment and high level protrusions.
Due to the exact way that Flexiwall is designed to fit to the building’s profile, the wall would provide a maximum seal, helping EGGER to easily control the temperature levels inside the enclosure.
Flexiwall also gave EGGER the ability to request that the final wall was manufactured in grey and white to fit in with their corporate branding.
Additionally, if EGGER chose to remove the enclosure in the future, or even reconfigure it to suit continued growth plans, they could amend and adapt Flexiwall with minimum fuss and expense compared with a more permanent solid wall solution.
The finished installation comprised of a three-sided Flexiwall enclosure 113m x 8m high with a Fastflex fast action door and two steel pedestrian doors for access to the area.
The project had a very fast turnaround time taking just three weeks from quote to installation.
